The Opportunity
BPO Wizard is an offshore recruitment and marketing company with it’s footprints in the US, UK and Europe. We are scaling quickly, new sites, new service lines, and enterprise clients who expect enterprise-grade controls.
You will own the infrastructure the business runs on today and lead its transformation into a secure, segmented, centrally managed and audit-ready environment capable of supporting SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certification. If you have been waiting for a role where you architect rather than inherit, this is that role.
What You Will Own
1. Infrastructure & Network
Multi-site network architecture, LAN/WAN, firewalls, VLAN segmentation, site-to-site connectivity, Wi-Fi, ISP performance and redundancy, along with server, storage and backup infrastructure with tested recovery.
2. Security & Compliance
Endpoint protection, access control, data loss prevention, email security (SPF/DKIM/DMARC) and incident response. You own the technical control set behind our SOC 2 and ISO 27001 readiness programme.
3. Identity, Devices & Access
Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, MDM enrolment, group policy, role-based access, and a clean joiner–mover–leaver process run jointly with HR. One identity, one policy, every device.
4. Service Delivery & Team Leadership
Build a help desk that works, ticketing, published SLAs, escalation paths and permanent elimination of recurring issues. Lead, coach and grow IT support staff as the team scales.
5. Assets, Vendors & Budget
A live IT asset register from procurement through to disposal. Vendor, licence and contract management, technical evaluation of quotations, and an annual IT budget you build and defend.
6. Systems & Digital Transformation
Support the deployment of core business systems, CRM, ERP/finance, HRIS and asset management, and drive automation that removes manual administration from the business.
What You Bring
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- 5–8 years of IT experience, including 2–3 years leading an IT function or team
- Strong hands-on networking: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPN and Wi-Fi
- Microsoft 365, Windows Server and Active Directory or Entra ID administration
- Endpoint security, backup and recovery, and patch management
- Proven ownership of IT assets, vendor relationships and IT budgets
- Ability to explain technical risk to non-technical leadership in plain language
Strong Advantage
- BPO, RPO, call centre or shared-services environment
- Exposure to SOC 2, ISO 27001 or a comparable compliance programme
- Cloud and virtualisation (Azure/AWS), and Intune or comparable MDM
- CCNA, CompTIA Network+ / Security+, Microsoft or ITIL certification

- Uptime of critical systems, network and internet connectivity
- First-response and resolution time against published SLAs
- IT asset register accuracy and clean onboarding/offboarding
- Backup success rate and verified restore tests
- Security control coverage and continuous audit readiness
- Recurring incidents permanently eliminated, not repeatedly closed
- Roadmap milestones delivered on schedule
Working With Us
You will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and work alongside a Fractional CTO on architecture and compliance strategy, while owning execution and the day-to-day IT function outright. The role is hands-on and site-based, with occasional out-of-hours response where issues materially affect business operations.
